An early, very heavy hammered copper cylinder vase with tooled dogwood flowers and verdigris Italian Polychrome patterns around top perimeter. Sensational original condition and patina, signed with early mark and Jennings two dots. This vase was purchased by Sarah Dunlap Barclay, a talented China painter who lived in Newport News Virginia, she bought in the teens while on a trip to New York City. Measures 7” tall and 2.5” wide.
