CLEVELAND SHOPS

Cleveland Ohio was a major center for Arts & Crafts metalwork during the first 25 years of the 20th century. The most notable makers were Horace Potter and his Potter Studio, The Rokesley Shop, Mildred Watkins, Jane Carson, Frances Barnum, John Sidney Burton and Anna Wyers Hill. These artists exhibited annually at the Cleveland Museum of Art whose yearly exhibit catalog show a wealth of objects crafted in the area.
