Ludwig Vierthaler for Winhart & Co., Munich circa 1904. This amazing jardiniere is pictured (last photo) in an article on the Münchener Kunstgewerbehaus (Munich Arts & Crafts House) shop in the journal Kunst und Handwerk from 1904. This form shows up as both a jardiniere with the ruffled rim and as a punch bowl with a lid (rolled rim). Hammered copper body with hand decorated pine cones and needles with the most dramatic jugendstil brass handles flaring out & up from the body. Original aged caramel patina with only a couple small wear blemishes as seen in last few photos. With handles, measures 17” across and 11” tall. SOLD
