Jarvie silver-plate “Art Nouveau” candlesticks circa 1903. Heavy bronze with silver-plate. Unsigned as is always the case with this early form. Jarvie advertised doing gold and silver-plate on special order pieces as seen here. There are a few other known examples of his sticks in silver-plate; a pair in the LACMA collection, one in the Chicago Institute of Fine Arts. and another at a Stair Auction. Excellent overall condition, measure 13.25” high and 6” wide.
