Robert Jarvie silver-plate “Art Nouveau” candlesticks circa 1903. A pair of early and heavy bronze with silver-plate finish candlesticks. Jarvie advertised doing gold and silver-plate on special order pieces as seen here. There are a few other known examples of his candlesticks in silver-plate; a pair in the LACMA collection (see below), one in the Chicago Institute of Fine Arts. and another was sold at auction. Unsigned as is always the case with this early form. Excellent overall condition, measure 13.25” high and 6” wide. $3,500/pair
