Joseph Heinrichs seven piece oak, copper & silver desk set, New York circa 1904. The largest set we’ve seen in 25 years, all original condition and patina, incredible hammering to copper, each set on oak bases with silver rivets. Set consists of a large letter file, double inkwell, stamp box, calendar frame, paper clip, letter knife & pen tray. Letter file has two removable slot files that slide into grooves on the sides. Inkwell has original heavy cut glass wells, center section opens, likely a space to store pen tips. Calendar frame retains all the original perpetual cards, missing one rivet on reverse. Stamp box appears lined in a gold wash on interior and lid. Clip in working order with strong spring on underside. Most pieces signed with “Copper and SIlver” stamped mark. Letter file measures 11.75” wide, 4.5” deep and 7” tall. Inkwell measures 9.25” wide by 4.75” deep. knife is 12.25” long and tray is 1"0’ long by 4” wide. A masterpiece. SOLD
