Douglas Donaldson for Handicraft Guild, Minneapolis circa 1910. Six sided lamp shade with roosting peacocks, the central tree below border with landscape background and stylized peacock eyes in each corner. Copper with enhanced original patina and older replaced mica. Some of the peacock heads appear soldered on, due to small size of work. Overall lighter gauge copper shade. Base unmarked, possibly Weller with a green curdled glaze. Original hammered copper mount in pottery, two sockets. Rewired with silk cord and bakelite plug. Overall measures 23.5” tall, shade is 16” at widest and 14” at smallest in width. Base is 12” tall and 7” wide at middle. $3,800
