Arnold Benetti box, San Francisco CA circa 1990. Benetti was a master craftsman working in the early days of the first revival, his work was documented in the seminal book, “In The Arts & Crafts Style” published in 1993. Benetti used a box base signed by L.H. Vaughan of Boston and crafted a stunning new lid depicted two cut our maple leafs finished in red paint. Benetti signed the interior of the lid.
