Rookwood Pottery vase by William Hentschel, Cincinnati OH dated 1913. Incised and painted Ombroso mat glaze vase decorated by William Hentschel. The vase features three sets of repeating stylized roses and stems rising from the base. Impressed with the Rookwood insignia, the date and shape 1845 and incised with Mr. Hentschel's monogram partially obscured by the heavy glaze. Some crystalline in glazing, Mild crazing around top with some unobtrusive pinpoint bubbles (typical in this glaze). Excellent condition. Measures 3 5/8” tall and 2.25” wide. $950
