Potter Studio covered bowl, Cleveland OH circa 1912. Horace Potter used many objects in his work, this yellow pottery bowl was used as a base for a finely hammered copper lid, outlined and domed. The piece is finished with a hand crafted finial set with an antique Chinese carved ivory bone of a dragon head set with black stone eyes, amazing details to carving. A rare early form from the most important Cleveland maker in pristine original condition. Signed. Measures 7” wide and 4” tall. SOLD
