Friedrich Müller serving tray, Nuremberg Germany circa 1905. A large hammered copper tray with two Art Nouveau brass handles. The center with deep repoussé work, the specialty of Müller. Müller studied with Peter Behrens at the Bavarian Museum of Applied Arts and participated in the Bavarian State Exhibition in 1906. Although unsigned, we have a signed bread box with a near identical pattern to the lid. Excellent condition and a wonderful patina.
