Albin Müller thermostat & barometer, Darmstadt circa 1902. This design has typically been seen in period clocks commonly attributed to Müller, this is the first time we have seen the design used for a wall thermometer & barometer set. The wood support holds a hammered iron back plate with large rivets, the lower half with a French barometer and the upper with a thermometer. The piece is decorated with blue and purple ceramic cabachons. Excellent condition, see photos at bottom for other similar examples all attributed to Müller. The thermometer in working order (Celsius), barometer would need servicing. Measures 20” tall and 6.5” wide. $1,200
