Frederick Fifield for The Art Shop box, Hancock NY dated 1938. A very rare hammered copper box from this elusive shop. The box is made from thick copper (his hallmark) and covered in large hammered straps and rivets. The base is signed with a fantastic signature including his three dash mark. Exceptional original patina and workmanship, the centerpiece of any Fifield collection. Measures 3.25” tall and 3” wide at lid. SOLD
