Forest Craft Guild sconces, Grand Rapids MI circa 1908. An amazing pair of large hammered copper sconces; the concave back plates with deep warty hammering and reticulated tipped up edges, the candle holders attached with riveted plates mimicking the back plates design. The patina is sublime; the dark brown and black backplates accentuate the mottled verdigris patina on the holders. Unsigned, but we have handled signed examples of this form. a few very minor scuffs to back plates, very good condition, measure 16” tall and 4” wide. $1,200/pair
