Douglas Donaldson frame, Los Angeles circa 1918. A large hammered copper frame attributed to Donaldson based on design and etching techniques. The frame features cascading cactus along the sides with a central area for an 8x6 image. Small “M” inscribed to top right corner. Unusual imagery unique to California Arts & Crafts, similar cactus designed were published at the time in School Arts Magazine. Excellent condition and patina, measures 12.5” tall and 10.5” wide. $850
