Douglas Donaldson chandelier circa 1910. This design was featured in a article written by Donaldson showcasing his lamp shades while he was working with the Handicraft Guild in Minneapolis (see HERE). The five sided copper shade has an architectural floral pierced decoration, the straps are cut and shaped at each end to mimic the curved edging and leaving his classic dot opening in each corner. The cap has a pagoda overhang design, riveted with seam straps. The ceiling mount matches the pagoda design in reverse. Shade all original condition; patina, glass and socket - even has decades of dirt and residue still present. The ceiling mount has been repatinated, rewired and ready for use. Measures about 35/36” in drop including the mount structure, shade measures 14” wide and 7” tall, mount is roughly 6” wide. Chain could be extended if desired. SOLD
