Arts & Crafts hammered copper cylinder vase, New York circa 1915. This vase was found in a Buffalo estate and is attributed to a Roycroft artisan who crafted their cylinder vases. We are aware of one other of this form that has surfaced with identical design and workmanship. The top band is finished with a leather working tool, giving added texture & depth. The vase is quite heavy for its size with thick copper, typical of the earliest Roycroft cylinder vases. Nice original patina. Measures 7” tall and 2.5” wide. SOLD
