Cluna Studio candlestick, Dublin Ireland circa 1925. A rare and large wood candlestick, hand painted and stained with Celtic knot work dragons. The Cluna Studio was established in 1923 by Gertrude Grew (Belfast School of Art, Royal College of Art, London) and Margaret O'Keefe (The Metropolitan School of Art, Dublin) who crafted jewelry, enameled metal work, stenciled garments, colored embroidery, hand colored prints, calendars, cards and hand painted woodwork.  A pair of their candlesticks are in the National Museum of Ireland as seen HERE.
