Hans Eduard von Berlepsch-Valendas for Winhart & Co. vase, Munich circa 1901. A very early, rare & large hammered copper vase from one of the most important figures of the Munich Secession. This massive vase is fully hand formed with a seam running up the entire body. The repoussé panels are hand worked and the piece is finished with an original two tone patina typical of the early Munich copper work of Valendas for Winhart & Co.. The handles are hand finished brass in an exquisite jugendstil form. Excellent condition, one small dent to lower side edge.
