Sylvan Boxsius woodblock, England circa 1910. A large and fine colored woodblock print depicting a winter evening with a home and hillside illuminated by the moon, casting large tree shadows on the snow. The print is in excellent unmounted condition in the frame. We sourced a gorgeous thick quarter-sawn oak period frame with a gold bead bevel, the print is framed with acid free material & new matte under museum grade non-reflective acrylic. The print has incredible luminosity, the scale is quite dramatic. Frame measures 23” wide and 27” tall, the print at 14” by 11” wide. SOLD
