Society of Arts & Crafts bowl, Boston circa 1905. A large hammered copper bowl with a rich cobalt blue enamel interior. The hammering is crafted in the shape of a blooming flower head with pedals around the perimeter, the enamel has thinned to create a dramatic effect on the hammered surface in these areas. The base interior also showcases the small hammering marks wonderfully. This is the largest of these bowls we have seen, most are about half the size. Original patina to copper, some small stress fractures to enamel around upper edges, almost unseen. Overall excellent condition. Measures 7.25” wide and 2.25” tall. SOLD
