Albin Müller cigar lighter, Darmstadt Germany circa 1906. This rare cigar lighter in copper and brass was part of a series of objects Müller designed for the firm of Edward Hueck while working as part of the Darmstadt Artist Colony with Joseph Maria Olbrich. Müller’s designs from this period are quite unique and exceedingly modern. Signed on underside with artist AM monogram and firm stamp. Excellent original condition and patina. Measures 10” tall and 5” wide at top. $400
