Art Crafts Shop tray, Buffalo NY circa 1901. This is one of the rarest items from the shop, a small number of these trays in various designs were crafted very early and only a handful have ever surfaced. The hammered copper is raised from the center so the tray “floats” around the edges, the thick and rich green, blue and red enamel decoration is dropped into recesses in the copper. The entire border is hand cut around the enamel pattern. Signed with a 410 model number. Original patina, there are two small enamel repairs and one larger leaf (see darker green repairs). Measures 6” square. SOLD
